Yeah. Only a moron like Comfort would even dream he could successfully match wits with Hawking. Hawking, even though a prisoner of his wheel chair and only having use of a single facial muscle, has done far more with his life than Comfort could do in 10.
Comfort should be ashamed.

You reminded me of a couple of verses:
"Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus." Acts 4:13
(God often uses the most unlikely of men. Ever heard of King David? He started off as the youngest of a bunch of brothers and that was a big deal back then.)
Also:
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent." Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Sometimes Ray looks foolish, sometimes I do too, but then again... could it be God's way of doing things?

Yes, I have heard of king David. I seriously doubt he existed. There is little to no evidence outside the bible that he existed, (such is true for most of the characters in the bible though).
More to the point, how many uneducated or foolish people make a positive mark on the world? The exceptionally intelligent can get by without education sometimes (bill gates), but you will never find an uneducated fool that is a success. In fact they tend to become a burden on society.
Think about what I said on going to a JC.
Okay, butI have a hard time doubting the Bible isn't real... Sure, it takes faith to believe the Bible is inspired, but there is even secular stuff like this:
